Hi everyone,
when we visited the UN in New York we were informed about this site. For each correct answer you give, you donate 100 grains of rice. You can also select the kind of questions you want: English, Spanish, maths, geography, and so on.
Don't hesitate. It will take you two minutes to get at least one kilo.
Here's the link: http://www.freerice.com
Enjoy and thanks for your rice!

Do You Drive or Are You Driven?
When driving, have you ever had the feeling of not remembering where you have passed by or being miles away? If it happens to you very often, bad news guy! So I recommend you to pay more attention to the wheel, because there are much more little and weak things than you out of your four wheels box. The video was sent to me by a friend, thanks Gloria! The best is at the end. Don't take your eyes off it ;)

My plan for the weekend!!!
Hi guys,
have you been wondering what the hell your English teacher is planning to do at the weekend? Well, the thing is I was ashamed to tell you face to face but here, hidden behind the intimacy of the Internet, I can tell you:
I'm going to take part in a Scalextric competition in Cheste! I'm going to drive a Porsche 997, a car I'd like to have but I can only afford the small version.
My beginnings in slot car racing date back from when I was a child. I was 5 years old when my father bought me a track with two Tyrrel Ford Formula One cars. I have very nice memories of this game, playing with my father and having a great time.
Today, everytime I see the car I got when I was 5 years old, I remember him, so it makes me feel great. apart from the feelings, slot car racing is an adventure full of adrenaline, especially for those who cannot afford to race in real cars!
Please have a look at the following video and you'll see what I'm talking about:
Well, I expect your comments. I'll tell you about my final position on Monday!
Enjoy the weekend,
Vincent (Hamilton)

Images With No Comments - Part II
Lorena's last post remind me a video I had in one of my blogs. Here you have. Watch, observe, think about, know and defend.
Images With No Comments

Norbert Rosing is a German photographer and he was in Hudson Bay in Canada when he saw a big polar bear near his dogs. He was afraid of it because he thought it was going to be the end of his dogs but the polar bear only wanted to play with them. I think pictures are beautiful and they represent a big lesson for us. Enjoy these beautiful pictures!!

How to Post a Comment?
From time to time people in class ask me about how to post a comment on the blog. You have several possibilities but I'm going to comment on you the easiest. At the bottom of every post you have something like this:

What you have to do is click on "X comentarios" and a pop-up will appear. A pop-up is a little window ;) . Going back to the previous image, imagine we click on "0 comentarios". The pop-up to appear would be this:

What you have to do now is click on the option "Nombre/URL" and something like this will appear:

Now fill in the field "Nombre" with any name you want to you. The field "URL" is optional as you can see. This field is useful for people who, for example, have a web page. Imagine I fill in these fields. It would stay something like this:

The only thing you have to do now is to write your comment above. If you want, you can also write the comment first and do what I have explained later. The last thing to do is click on the button "Publicar Comentario". Do you want to practice it right now? Leave a comment ;) .
Moral: Practice makes perfect.
